About the ICT Support Coordinator Vacancies

  • Position: ICT Support Coordinator
  • Salary: R444,036 – R532,602 per annum (Level 09)

  • Locations: Eastern Cape Provincial Service Centre and Mpumalanga Provincial Service Centre

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Three-year National Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or an equivalent qualification at NQF level 6 with 360 credits, as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the ICT environment.
  • Advanced Certificate in ITIL (an added advantage).
  • One year of end-user training experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • CompTIA A+/N+, ITIL Foundations, COBIT 5, CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • Service Desk Institute or Service Desk Analyst International Certification.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Help Desk first-line support.
  • Knowledge of Government prescripts, regulations, and laws.
  • Experience in creating user training manuals, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Budget drafting skills.
  • Evaluation of End-User Training.
  • Familiarity with the Public Sector IT environment, LAN, project, and change management.

Duties

The ICT Support Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to IT first-line and liaising with end-users and LAN support.
  • Conducting infrastructural assessments and coordinating all IT-related activities within high courts.
  • Liaising with contracted service providers at the provincial level.
  • Facilitating functional training on business system applications.
  • Providing customer relation support to users.
