Eligibility Criteria for the SAPS Graduate Recruitment Scheme

Applicants eager to join the SAPS Graduate Recruitment Scheme must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Be a South African citizen.
  • Educational Qualification: Hold a National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification, such as NCV Level 4.
  • Criminal Record: Must have no criminal convictions or pending cases.
  • Employment Status: Applicants should be unemployed, should not have been previously employed in the field of the advertised post, nor should they have partaken in any internship in the relevant field.
  • Residency: Must be a resident of the Eastern Cape, with proof of residential address.

1. Administrative Graduate Intern – Communication/Public Relations

2.  Administrative Graduate Intern – Legal (x2 Posts)

  • Core Functions: Perform quality and cost-effective repairs and maintenance of SAPS vehicles. Ensure a clean and safe working environment. Diagnose, strip, and determine the parts required for services and repairs. Complete the parts request list for the parts required per vehicle. Complete the job card with regards to work done and actual time taken.
