Purpose of the Learnership Position
As a key member of NWK’s in-house operational system development team, your primary role will be to master various programming techniques and apply them in real-world projects. The NWK Learnership program is designed to help you develop critical skills needed in today’s fast-paced IT environment, with a focus on creating, refining, and implementing systems across the company’s diverse operational needs.
Over the course of one year, you’ll be involved in several core activities:
- Creating graphical user interfaces in collaboration with PHP or natural programmers for NWK’s operating system (no prior programming experience is required for this).
- Developing PHP programs to work within NWK’s existing system framework.
- Crafting web-based programs that enhance NWK’s online and operational capabilities.
- Testing and troubleshooting the systems you develop, ensuring they work smoothly.
- Implementing these systems and training end-users to make the most of the technology.

Requirements
NWK is seeking dedicated individuals who are ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: You must have a Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent). Special consideration will be given to candidates with strong academic performance in subjects like Mathematics, Accountancy, and Computer Studies.
