    Requirements

    • Educational Qualification:
      • Recognised Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in a relevant field.
    • Experience and Skills:
      • General exposure in the communication environment.
      • Ability to adhere to and promote processes and procedures.
      • Strong team player capabilities.
      • Effective conceptualisation and implementation of communication campaigns.
      • Understanding of the government’s mandate and development communication.
      • Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office and other relevant software).
      • Familiarity with online and social media communication tools.
      • Fluent spoken and written English; additional language skills relevant to stakeholder engagement are advantageous.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with media engagements to communicate key international government programs.
    • Provide media liaison support to international projects.
    • Facilitate the accreditation process for foreign media representatives.
    • Maintain and update the media database regularly.
    • Attend Rapid Response meetings and implement the recommendations.
    • Provide administrative support to the directorate.
    • Manage information for the unit effectively..
