    Part-Time Interpreter Positions Overview:

    Requirements:

    • Matric Certificate: Possess a Matric certificate (Grade 12).
    • National Diploma in Labour Related Qualification: Hold a National Diploma in a Labour Related Qualification.
    • 1 Year Experience: Have at least 1 year of relevant experience in interpretation or related fields.
    • Knowledge of Latest Legislation/Amendments: Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the latest legislation and amendments relevant to the field of interpretation or labour relations.

    For the 1st Position (Languages: Tshivenda and Xitsonga):

    • Proficiency in Tshivenda and Xitsonga languages is required.
    • Ability to provide accurate verbal interpretations in Tshivenda and Xitsonga during CCMA hearings.
    • Ensure effective communication between parties in Tshivenda and Xitsonga within CCMA proceedings.
    • Support administrative functions related to interpretation services for Tshivenda and Xitsonga languages.

    For the 2nd Position (Languages: Sesotho, IsiZulu, and Xitsonga):

    • Proficiency in Sesotho, IsiZulu, and Xitsonga languages is required.
    • Provide accurate verbal interpretations in Sesotho, IsiZulu, and Xitsonga during CCMA hearings.
    • Facilitate clear communication between parties in Sesotho, IsiZulu, and Xitsonga within CCMA proceedings.
    • Assist with administrative duties associated with interpretation services for Sesotho, IsiZulu, and Xitsonga languages

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Verbal Interpretations During Hearings: Provide accurate and clear verbal interpretations during CCMA hearings to facilitate understanding between parties.
    • Administrative Support Functions:
      • Assist in administrative support functions related to interpretation services within CCMA proceedings.
      • Ensure all documentation and records related to interpretation services are accurately maintained and organized.
      • Collaborate with CCMA Commissioners and structures to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of CCMA activities.
