The Department of Home Affairs is inviting applications for the role of Civic Services Clerk across various regions in South Africa. - Salary: R255 450 – R300 912 per annum (Level 6).

Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- A qualification in Public Management, Public Administration, Operations Management, Business Management, or Administration at NQF Level 6, recognized by SAQA.
- Experience gained through the Department of Home Affairs Cadet or Internship program is advantageous.
- Knowledge of civic service regulatory frameworks, public service legislation, fraud prevention, and Batho Pele Principles.

Duties
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Processing civic service applications and issuing secure enabling documents such as birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, travel documents, and passports.
- Providing administrative support, attending to public inquiries, and conducting online verifications.
- Transforming local offices into digitally oriented operations while maintaining governance processes.
- Ensuring efficient resource management and delivering exceptional customer service.
