Armscor, in collaboration with the defense industry, is pleased to announce its bursary program for the 2024 academic year. This initiative aims to support students pursuing studies aligned with the future needs of the defense industry. Undergraduate and postgraduate bursaries are available in a range of fields critical to the industry’s growth.

Eligibility Requirements
Before applying for the Armscor Bursary, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- South African citizenship
- Currently in Matric (in 2023) or completed Matric
- Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in 2024
- Acceptance or registration at a recognized South African tertiary institution
- Strong academic record
- Interest in pursuing a career within the defense industry
- Minimum 70% in Mathematics, Physical Science, and English in Matric
- From a previously disadvantaged background

Shortlisted candidates must submit additional documents before the bursary is awarded, including Matric final results, proof of acceptance or registration at the university, student number, and a fees statement (if currently studying).
Closing Date
The closing date for the Armscor Bursary is 2 February 2024. Late applications will not be considered, so applicants are encouraged to submit their applications well before the deadline.
Shortlisted candidates can expect to receive feedback within two weeks of the closing date. Unsuccessful applicants will not receive feedback.
