Requirements
To be considered for the Anglo American Mining Cadet Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics (or Mathematics Literacy) and English
- Achieved a minimum pass mark of 40 percent in both subjects
- Must be medically fit and able to work in opencast mining conditions
- Willing to work on surface and possibly in shifts
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must pass psychometric and K53 Simulator assessments
- A valid South African driver’s license is an advantage but not mandatory
- Must be from the host communities (Proof of residence required)
