Tshwane North TVET College Job Opportunities Available:
1. Data Capturers (2 Posts)
- Nature of Appointment: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
- Salary: R183,279 per annum (Level 4) plus 37% in lieu of benefits
- Work Location: Pretoria Campus

Requirements:
Applicants for the Data Capturer roles must meet the following qualifications and skills:
- A Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- An appropriate National Diploma in Management Assistant, Office Administration, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 18 months of experience in student administration.
- Proficiency in computer hardware, software, and programs.
- Practical knowledge of the Adapt IT Integrated Tertiary Software (ITS) system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing student registration data into the ITS system.
- Providing administrative support to the Head of Department, including entering student marks and weekly attendance records.
- Verifying and addressing errors or missing data during data entry.
- Validating and reviewing all records before submission.
- Regularly backing up data and maintaining updated statistics.
- Keeping and securing records, ensuring proper sorting and accessibility.
- Responding to requests for information from various faculties and divisions.
2. Receptionist
- Nature of Appointment: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
- Salary: R183,279 per annum (Level 4) plus 37% in lieu of benefits
- Work Location: Central Office

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the Receptionist position should possess:
- A Matric certificate or NC(V) Level 4 certificate in Office Administration.
- An N6 Certificate or Diploma/Degree in Office Administration.
- A minimum of two years of work experience as a switchboard operator or receptionist.
- Excellent communication skills and adherence to Batho Pele principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office software and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the reception area and switchboard operations, including receiving and forwarding calls.
- Providing clerical and administrative support, including typing and managing correspondence.
- Handling photocopy machines, distributing correspondence, and maintaining stationery records.
- Capturing and organizing data, including participation in college-wide record management.
- Assisting with stock-taking, updating emergency procedures, and providing relief services in management offices.
