    Role Overview: Sales Assistant Learner

    The Sales Assistant Learner will support the Key Account Manager and Commercial Director in various sales-related tasks. The responsibilities include assisting in customer interactions, maintaining databases, handling administrative duties, and ensuring smooth sales operations.

    This position offers exposure to a dynamic commercial environment where learners will gain practical skills in customer relationship management (CRM), sales coordination, data management, and secretarial support.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Sales Coordination and Customer Management

    • Prepare monthly sales reports to track customer performance
    • Assist the Key Account Manager and Commercial Director with CRM-related tasks
    • Help coordinate and schedule customer visits
    • Support in preparing materials and presentations for customer meetings
    • Request price quotations and send them to customers
    • Monitor and update customer pricing in the system promptly
    • Ensure accurate data management for customers across all Givaudan systems

    2. Sample Department Management

    • Request flavour samples from production units for customer briefs
    • Dispatch samples with necessary documentation and certifications
    • Manage customer projects related to samples and keep clients updated

    3. Administrative and Secretarial Support

    • Arrange travel logistics for the Key Account Manager
    • Maintain electronic filing systems for correspondence and reports
    • Manage the procurement and distribution of corporate gifts for customers
    • Ensure health and safety compliance in line with company policies
    • Participate in flavour training and tasting sessions to understand product offerings
    • Provide departmental support in the absence of managers
    • Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring effective resolution
    • Coach learners in the sales admin function and track their progress
    • Communicate with various internal departments to facilitate smooth operations
