Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Assistant in Telesales and Road Logistics, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and grow the customer base while ensuring exceptional service to clients. Your duties will include:
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Telephonic contact with all allocated customers every month.
- Assisting in the implementation of client accounts, including process and project management.
- Tracking activities and meetings in the MS Dynamics Platform.
- Providing financial reporting to customers when required.
- Managing customer accounts and ensuring clients make timely payments (DSO management).
- Assisting customers with ClientZone queries and training.
- Meeting monthly and annual sales targets.
- Initiating sales calls with potential clients.
- Engaging customers in meaningful conversations to generate sales.
- Listening to customer needs and offering relevant DSV services.
- Documenting customer information such as payment methods and feedback.
- Keeping up to date with DSV’s service offerings and ensuring customers are informed about new solutions.
Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Advantageous)
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in telesales within a logistics or related environment.
Computer Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
