Siqalo Foods, a proud subsidiary of RCL FOODS, is seeking a qualified and dynamic Receptionist and Site Administrator to join their thriving team in Boksburg, Gauteng. This full-time, permanent position is an integral role within their FOODS DIVISION, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the leadership team at the Boksburg site.     Key Responsibilities

    The Receptionist and Site Administrator will be entrusted with a variety of duties designed to support the smooth operation of the Boksburg site.

    1. Administrative Support
      • The individual will perform various administrative tasks and handle both routine and specific matters for the site’s leadership team.
      • They will independently schedule appointments, manage calendars, and arrange travel itineraries for executives.
      • Preparing documents, ensuring they are compiled for travel-related meetings, and assisting with travel plans will be a core part of their responsibilities.
    2. Office Coordination
      • Ensuring the office environment is functional and well-maintained, the administrator will coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and office services like cleaning and handyman duties.
      • The role includes ordering stationery, recording office expenses, and ensuring that meeting rooms are booked and managed effectively.
    3. Event and Conference Arrangements
      • From arranging conferences and events to coordinating logistical requirements for visitors, the administrator will ensure a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
      • Catering arrangements for site meetings or events will also fall under their purview.
    4. Visitor and Mail Management
      • As the first point of contact for visitors, the receptionist will monitor access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are granted entry.
      • The administrator will also handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring its timely sorting, distribution, and dispatch.
      • They will sign for deliveries and ensure packages are distributed to the correct recipients.
    5. Financial and Workflow Management
      • Creating workflows and raising purchase orders (POs) for general site services and goods will be another important task.
      • They will attend to payment queries uploaded to SharePoint and compile accruals at the financial month-end.
    6. Technology and Equipment Assistance
      • Assisting with IT-related tasks, such as ordering laptops, PCs, and SIM cards, is a key support function they will provide.
    7. Additional Duties
      • Other responsibilities include taking and relaying messages to staff, ensuring visitor PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is controlled, and supporting the leadership team with expense claims.

    Skills and Requirements

    To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

    • A Secretarial Diploma or any related qualification.
    • At least 2 years of administrative and secretarial experience in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in SAP and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
