SPAR Group YES Programme Overview

Positions Available
Finance:
- Expertise in financial planning, budget management, and cost analysis.
- Application of analytical skills for financial forecasting and strategic financial decisions.
Marketing:
- Engagement in creative campaign development, market analysis, and brand management.
- Involvement in buying, negotiating, and stock planning with a strong emphasis on financial acumen.
Information Technology:
- Opportunities in system development, cybersecurity, and IT project management.
- Roles include Retail Systems Specialist, Business Analytics, and Customer Liaison, where a Driver’s License is beneficial.
Warehouse/Logistics:
- Experience in supply chain optimization, freight logistics, and road transport management.
- Exposure to consumer science applications in food and nutrition, as well as quality control in food technology and microbiology.
Risk/Quality:
- Focus on environmental health, safety management, and quality assurance.
- Emphasis on implementing and maintaining safety protocols and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
- South African Citizenship
- Aged 18 – 28
- Not currently studying full-time and unemployed
- Passed Matric with relevant tertiary qualifications
- No criminal record
- Not previously participated in YES
- Able to commit to the 12-month program from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025
