    Responsibilities:

    As a General Worker in the Pharmacy Stores department, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks that support the efficient running of the pharmacy. The key responsibilities include:

    • Delivery of Medicines: Safely transporting trolleys of medicines from the Pharmacy Stores to dispensaries and other hospital areas. These trolleys can weigh up to 200kg.
    • Handling and Disposal: Responsible for handling cardboard waste and ensuring proper disposal.
    • Basic Administrative Duties: Assisting with filing, maintaining records of deliveries, and other basic administrative tasks.
    • Stock Distribution: Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of pharmacy stock to various hospital wards throughout the day.

    Requirements:

    This role requires someone with the physical ability to handle and transport heavy loads, as well as perform general assistant duties in a pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate should have:

    • Basic Numeracy and Literacy: A fundamental understanding of numbers and literacy skills to handle deliveries and records accurately.
