- Receiving job cards and ensuring scheduled maintenance tasks are completed.
- Performing repairs related to electrical systems, welding, plastering, tiling, and plumbing.
- Working closely with contractors when additional repairs or services are required.
Routine Inspections
- Conducting weekly checks on essential facility components, including:
- Racking
- Generators
- Dock levelers
- Fire pump and valve stations
- Performing ladder inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Overseeing concrete floor and bollard repairs.
- Conducting boiler-making tasks, including the construction of safety cages for stocktaking.
- Inspecting and testing 380V truck plugs to ensure proper functionality.
Safety Compliance
- Ensuring all maintenance work meets safety requirements.
- Demarcating work areas where necessary to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Coordinating weekly fire pump and valve runs, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
- Conducting weekly generator runs, with corresponding documentation.
Coordination and Standby Duty
- Being on standby to respond to urgent maintenance issues.
- Coordinating with contractors on-site for repairs that require specialized services.
- Overseeing the ammonia plant and working with external providers (EP) for repairs beyond the service level agreement (SLA).
