Graduate Engineer Job Desciption
As a Graduate Engineer at Fly Safair, you will play an integral role in the engineering department by contributing to a variety of projects, ensuring safety standards, and enhancing operational efficiencies. You will report to the Engineering Manager and be involved in multiple tasks such as project execution, research and analysis, and technical support to the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Small Scale Projects: You will assist in executing building and facilities-related projects, with the aim of obtaining Professional status.
- Safety and Quality Management: Gain training in safety protocols and work towards acquiring a Government Certificate of Competence (GCC).
- Research and System Improvement: Engage in research to analyze and improve systems, contributing to operational independence.
- Energy Management: Play a key role in managing energy consumption and driving projects aimed at reducing energy usage across facilities.
- Mechanical Design: Assist with the planning, conceptualization, and design of new mechanical systems for various projects.
- Problem Resolution: Use your engineering expertise to resolve product selection challenges, conduct creative testing, and re-engineer systems where necessary.
- Process Evaluation: Continuously assess and optimize current systems to drive efficiencies and reduce process variation.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports to demonstrate progress and accomplishments in your projects.
