    About Overberg Water Board

    Overberg Water Board operates under the Water Services Act (No. 108 of 1997) and is classified as a Government Business Enterprise as per Schedule 3B of the Public Finance Management Act (No. 1 of 1999). The organization plays a key role in water service management in the region, ensuring the effective delivery of water services.

    Minimum Requirements

    To be considered for the Cleaner position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    • Grade 12 qualification (Matric)
    • At least 12 months of relevant cleaning and administrative experience

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The appointed candidate will be responsible for various cleaning and administrative tasks, including:

    • Cleaning corporate offices, including the committee room, boardroom, restrooms, kitchen, foyer, patio, and office furniture
    • Assisting in the preparation of committee and boardrooms for meetings
    • Providing tea, coffee, and water for business meetings
    • Managing and replenishing cleaning materials, consumables, and utensils
    • Assisting with postal services and handling routine office inquiries
    • Ensuring proper record-keeping and filing
    • Assisting with reception duties
    • Adhering to a Monday to Friday work schedule (08h00 – 17h00)
