    1. Intern: Legal, Compliance and Contract Management

    Requirements:

    • Citizenship: South African
    • Age: Under 35 years
    • ID: Valid South African ID
    • Qualifications: Post-matric qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Experience: Must not have participated in previous SETA internships or been previously employed.
    • Documents: Submit a CV, motivation letter, and certified copies of ID and academic qualifications.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BA Law or BCom Law or equivalent

    Core Competencies:

    During their internship at CETA, interns are expected to develop the following skills and knowledge:

    • Understanding of CETA and SETA Landscape:
      • Gain insights into CETA as both a corporate and public entity.
      • Learn about the overall SETA framework, its purpose, and mandate.
    • Theoretical Knowledge:
      • Acquire relevant theoretical understanding related to the specific department or functional area of placement.
    • Regulatory Knowledge:
      • Develop basic knowledge of applicable laws and frameworks, including:
        • Skills Development Act (SDLA)
        • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
        • Tax Laws
        • Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE)

        • Affirmative Action
