About the Role: Admissions Officer
The Admissions Officer plays a crucial role in the school’s operations, serving as the first point of contact for prospective families. This position demands professionalism, compassion, and exceptional organizational skills to ensure a seamless admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing Admissions Inquiries: Respond to and guide families through the admissions process, offering personalized support and clear communication.
- Conducting School Tours: Provide an engaging and authentic glimpse into Herschel’s community and values.
- Coordinating Assessments and Follow-Ups: Organize assessments for prospective students and maintain regular follow-ups with families.
- Hosting Admission Events: Plan and execute open days, school tours, and other events to welcome prospective families.
- Maintaining Records and Data: Keep up-to-date records of inquiries and applications, monitor trends, and contribute to strategic admissions planning.
Collaboration and Independence
The Admissions Officer will work closely with the Head of School, Head of Preparatory, Marketing and Advancement Manager, and other staff members. While collaboration is essential, the role also requires independence, initiative, and the ability to manage responsibilities autonomously.
