Salary and Benefits

Requirements

  • NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent)
  • Essential skills include job knowledge, communication, interpersonal relations, flexibility, teamwork, accuracy, an aptitude for figures, computer literacy, along with planning and organizing capabilities. Good verbal and written communication skills are critical.

Responsibilities

Joining our team means taking part in a wide range of road maintenance and construction activities, including but not limited to:

  • Construction of culverts and side drains
  • Erection and maintenance of steel guardrails and gabions
  • Road earth and layer works construction
  • Maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and rest areas
  • Surfacing and pothole patching
  • Fence reading and pipe laying
  • Installation of road markings, studs, and signs
  • Crushing of road material
  • Brush clearing and grass cutting
