Requirements

To qualify for the position of Warehouse Operator, the following educational background and experience are necessary:

  • Grade 12: A high school diploma is mandatory.
  • 1 – 2 yrs. Experience: Candidates should have experience within a pharmaceutical or warehouse environment.
  • MHE License: Having a license for operating machinery such as Forklifts, PPTs, and Bendi would be advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: While not mandatory, a degree would be beneficial.
  • Post Basic Pharmacist: This qualification would also be an advantage.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for several key tasks and duties, including:

  • Order Processing: Ensuring that all tasks related to picking, packing, checking, and shipping orders to customers are performed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Checking machinery daily for any faults and informing supervisors of any malfunctions that need to be addressed.
  • Housekeeping: Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
  • Health and Safety: Adhering to prescribed SOPs, Health and Safety, Environmental procedures, and GDP/GWP guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Assisting with stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks, verifying that stocks picked from inventory are accurate, and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Order Preparation: Preparing orders for shipment by picking them accurately and promptly using an RF scanner.
  • Material Handling: Stacking and storing materials in designated areas.
  • Additional Duties: Performing related duties as assigned and assisting the QA team when required.
