    Minimum Requirements

    • Educational Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent / N2 Electrical.
    • Experience:
      • At least 2 years of experience in an electrical environment, or
      • Abet Level 4 with 5 years of experience in an electrical environment.
    • Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety.
    • Skills: Ability to perform repairs on electrical appliances, including lights, plugs, stoves, geysers, and submersible pumps.
    • Additional Requirements:
      • Driver’s license.
      • Ability to participate in standby duties.

    Primary Duties

    • Assist with planned maintenance and emergency repairs to electrical plant and equipment.
    • Conduct routine inspections and servicing of plant and equipment.
    • Support electrical installations and manage minor electrical supplies.
    • Maintain a high standard of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Knowledge:
      • Fundamental understanding of electrical principles and safety practices.
    • Skills:
      • Effective communication.
      • Basic literacy.
      • Competence in repairing various electrical components and appliances.
