    • Handling and Storage: Responsible for offloading and loading palletised cement, bulk loading and offloading, and stacking stock or pallets in the yard.
    • Loading Operations: Ensuring that transporter vehicles are loaded correctly, adhering to weight distribution requirements and Traffic Road Regulations.
    • Reporting and Repacking: Identifying and reporting breakages or missing bags while overseeing the re-bagging and repacking of cement according to company procedures.
    • Forklift Operations: Operating forklifts to move palletised products within designated timeframes, contributing to efficient depot operations.
    • Compliance and Safety: Maintaining strict adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental standards throughout the work environment.

    Experience and Qualifications

    AfriSam is looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience to join their team as Warehouse Attendants:

    • A Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification (Amended Senior Certificate, NCV Level 4, Technical Matric – N3 with 4 technical subjects and 2 official languages).
    • A valid 8-ton Forklift Driver’s License.
    • At least one year of experience in a related industry, preferably in bulk handling equipment and forklift operations.

    These qualifications ensure that the Warehouse Attendant possesses the skills required to excel in the role.
