Key Responsibilities
As an Usher, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Scanning Admission Tickets: Ensure that only authorized individuals enter the venue by checking tickets.
- Seating Patrons: Assist patrons in finding their designated seats and ensure they are seated promptly for the start of the performance.
- Guiding Patrons: Help guests locate important amenities such as the restaurant, bar, and toilets, enhancing their overall theatre experience.
- Special Needs Assistance: Provide extra support to patrons with specific needs to ensure their comfort during their visit.
- Handling Patron Concerns: Resolve seating disputes and assist with any other issues that arise during the performance.

The rate of pay for this position is R43.56 per hour, and the position will require flexibility, as you may be scheduled to work during various hours depending on the theatre’s operational needs.
Requirements for Applicants
To be considered for the Usher position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A Matric Certificate or Equivalent: A basic educational qualification is required.
