Tshwane University of Technology Internships are offering 24-months internship contracts funded by the National Skills Fund (NSF) under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in partnership with Amangwane Investments PTY LTD.

This project is managed by Student Affairs and Extracurricular Development (SAED) in collaboration with Human Resource Development (HRD).

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for the Internships, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualifications: Must hold a TUT qualification in one of the following fields:
    • Human Resource Management/Development
    • Labour Relations
    • Office Management and Technology
    • Administrative Information Management
    • Marketing
    • Sports Management
    • Public Affairs and Social Sciences
    • Project Management
  • Age: You must be between 18 and 34 years old.
  • Enrollment and Agreement: Successful candidates will be required to sign an enrollment form and an employment agreement/contract for the Tshwane University of Technology Internships.

Key Performance Areas

  • Core Administrative Tasks: Assist in day-to-day administrative functions such as filing, data entry, and document management. This includes maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all paperwork is up-to-date and filed correctly.
  • Coordination of Meetings and Events: Help organize and coordinate meetings, workshops, and events. This involves preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring that all logistical arrangements are handled efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide support to students, staff, and other stakeholders by addressing inquiries, guiding them through processes, and ensuring a positive interaction with the university’s administrative departments.
  • Office Management: Contribute to the smooth operation of the office by managing supplies, scheduling appointments, and performing other clerical duties as required.
  • Project Participation: Engage in various projects that are part of the university’s operations. This hands-on experience allows you to apply your academic knowledge in real-world scenarios, contributing to meaningful outcomes.

Successful interns will receive a monthly stipend of R 6000 for the duration of the 24-month contract for the Tshwane University of Technology Internships.
