Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification);

Core Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support to ensure that SCM documentation aligns with legislative frameworks.
- Monitor and report on changes in the SCM legislative environment.
- Maintain records and update registers for legal support activities.
- Compile important documents and respond to legal inquiries.
- Assist in the annual SCM risk assessment and develop response plans.
- Perform administrative tasks related to SCM legal support, including tracking recommendations and managing disputes and investigations.
- Facilitate logistical arrangements for meetings and informational sessions for contractors.
Duties of Supply Chain Management Clerk
- Providing clerical support to gather, update, compile, scan maintain documentation, and update registers during the process of continuously monitoring the alignment of Departmental SCM documentation such as: Delegations Framework
- Accounting Officers System, Instruction notes and circulars, SCM strategedy and related policies and procedures. with the relevant legislative framework
- Monitoring and reporting on changes in the SCM legislative environment, consolidating all requests for departmental inputs to changes in legislation, and keeping a dashboard of SCM guidelines, instructions and legislative requirements
- Render Legal Support by keeping records and updating registers
- Gathering and verifying information, compiling documents such as minutes, letters, reports and responses for PAIA applications, cession applications, conflict of interest case restriction and vetting applications and SCM related legal matters
- Assisting in annual risk assessment and development of SCM risk response plan
- Perfom administrative activities relating to SCM legal support; (tracking recommendations/reporting on remedial actions, disputes and investigations)
- Provide administrative support
- Logistical arrangements for meetings and contractor information sessions.
