Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma in Public Relations, Communication, or Marketing (3 years, 360 credits, NQF level 6).
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in stakeholder management or communication roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Code B motor vehicle license.

Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive strategies for stakeholder relations that align with the organization’s long-term goals.
  • Implementation Oversight: Lead the execution of these strategies, ensuring they effectively manage and optimize stakeholder engagements.

Policy and Procedure Formulation

  • Policy Development: Establish clear policies and procedures that standardize stakeholder and partnership engagements across the organization.
  • Procedure Oversight: Ensure these procedures are consistently applied and reflect best practices in stakeholder management.

Engagement Effectiveness

  • Engagement Matrix: Create and maintain a detailed matrix to measure the effectiveness of interactions with stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review engagement strategies and outcomes to ensure they meet organizational objectives.

Analysis and Planning

  • Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses to identify gaps in stakeholder engagement and propose actionable solutions.
  • Action Planning: Collaborate with team members to formulate and implement plans addressing identified deficiencies.

Engagement Plan Management

  • Plan Consolidation: Aggregate individual stakeholder engagement initiatives into a cohesive organizational plan.
  • Plan Implementation: Manage the roll-out of engagement plans, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives.

Reporting and Accountability

  • Quarterly Reports: Prepare and present detailed quarterly reports on engagement activities and outcomes to governance structures.

Strategic Support

  • Strategic Assistance: Support the broader strategic implementation of stakeholder relations initiatives across the organization.

Communication and Administrative Support

  • Communications: Manage the production and distribution of communication materials, such as stakeholder newsletters and quarterly communiqués.

Financial Management

  • Budget Management: Oversee the allocation and monitoring of budgets dedicated to stakeholder relations activities.
