Virgin Active South Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for a talented and driven Spatial Graphic Designer to join its Property Services team at the Virgin Active HQ. Key Spatial Graphic Designer Role Highlights:
- Design immersive club environments aligned with Virgin Active’s wellness mission.
- Create and manage Refurb Packs, Visual Identity documents, and external branding kits.
- Collaborate with multiple departments – marketing, sales, and product teams – to deliver cohesive visual messaging.
- Develop new graphics and signage that connect members to the Virgin Active brand.
- Assist in brand installation project management, from concept to execution.
Your Purpose:
To design, develop, and deliver powerful graphic layouts and spatial visuals that enhance the experience in Virgin Active clubs and resonate with members on their wellness journeys.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare Refurb and Refresh Packs with high visual impact.
- Acquire signage quotes, manage samples, and finalize design executions.
- Conduct research on materials with the Head of Design.
- Participate in design meetings, offering valuable creative input.
- Ensure all final artwork is accurate, print-ready, and reflective of brand identity.
- Maintain detailed archives of design files and projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients on design briefs and technical queries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and spatial layouts.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent time and deadline management.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of design projects.
Desirable Extras:
- Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and design presentation tools like PowerPoint and Keynote.
- Basic knowledge of wellness principles to align design with brand values.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
