- Educational Qualifications:
- Matric/Grade 12.
- Diploma in Health & Safety or currently pursuing one.
- SAMTRAC certification is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support and System Improvement
- Provide technical assistance in the enhancement, maintenance, and monitoring of existing management systems and standard operating procedures.
- Compliance and Adherence
- Ensure compliance with all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and procedures.
- Display critical HSE information on noticeboards throughout the facility to ensure visibility and awareness.
- Incident Management
- Collect data and actively participate in incident investigations to determine causes and recommend solutions.
- Risk Assessment and Monitoring
- Conduct and regularly review risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
- Ensure that all fire extinguishers and first aid boxes are compliant, properly serviced, and unobstructed.
- Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA)
- Assist in driving the CAPA system, ensuring that all corrective and preventative actions are effectively implemented and monitored.
