Duties and Responsibilities
The internship is part of ADvTECH’s Group IT Division, designed to equip you with essential skills in IT system support and client relations. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Responding to IT/System Queries
- Handling IT system-related inquiries from users.
- Logging problems and coordinating quick responses to resolve issues efficiently.
2. Basic Problem Resolution
- Assisting users in resuming normal system operations.
- Providing basic telephonic training for various IT systems when needed.
3. Incident Management
- Managing incidents from start to finish.
- Maintaining optimum client relations by resolving issues effectively.
4. Help Desk Support
- Offering first-line support for hardware and software issues.
- Logging and tracking user details, problems, and resolutions to assist with future administration and planning.
Shift Work
- Working on a rotational schedule to provide comprehensive service:
- Weekdays: Up to 12 hours (06:00–18:00)
- Saturdays: Up to 6 hours (08:00–14:00)
- Sundays: Up to 4 hours (09:00–13:00)
Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Microsoft Enterprise Administration certification.
- An IT Degree/Diploma.
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in IT support or customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- ICT Diploma.
- ITIL Practitioner Certification.
