    Main Purpose of the SEDA Human Resource Internship

    The primary goal of this internship is to provide effective and accurate administrative and coordination services in HR Administration, Benefits, and Payroll within the HR Operations Unit. This role is designed to offer hands-on experience and exposure to various HR functions, setting a strong foundation for your future career in Human Resources.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    As an Intern: HR Administrator, you will be involved in:

    • HR Administration, Benefits, and Payroll Support: Providing administrative support in HR Operations, including handling employee benefits and payroll processes.
    • Coordination of HR Operations Unit Events and Committees: Assisting in organizing events and committee meetings, ensuring smooth coordination and execution.
    • Administration of Third-Party Procurement and Payment Processes: Managing the procurement and payment processes with external vendors and service providers.
    • Maintenance of HR Operations Filing and Record Management System: Ensuring accurate and up-to-date record-keeping and filing systems within the HR department.

    Required Minimum Education

    • Matric (NQF Level 4)
    • Three-Year Diploma (NQF Level 6) in:
      • Human Resources Management
      • Human Resources Development
      • Industrial Psychology
      • Social Science

    Required Work Experience

    No prior work experience is required as this is an exposure programme designed for recent graduates.
