Role Overview
The Schools Journalist will focus on reporting positive stories from South African schools. This includes uncovering inspiring achievements, documenting initiatives that shape future leaders, and shedding light on impactful school programs. The successful candidate will contribute to both news and feature articles while embracing multimedia platforms to deliver compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
As a Schools Journalist, the chosen candidate will:
- Content Creation: Research, pitch, and produce high-quality news and feature articles focusing on positive developments in South Africa’s education landscape.
- Breaking News: Deliver original and timely reports on developing stories related to schools.
- Multimedia Contributions: Create target-specific articles while integrating multimedia elements such as photos, videos, and social media content.
