Key Responsibilities
As a Youth Development Programme intern in Sasol’s Digital Business Solutions team, the candidate will be involved in various aspects of the business’s digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Development Teams: Interns will work closely with international teams of data scientists and full-stack developers across three hubs—USA, Germany, and South Africa. The candidate will be integrated into an agile squad, contributing to all stages of project development.
- Data Analysis and Integration: The role will involve analyzing production and business data using advanced statistical methods and AI techniques. Interns will also gather, integrate, and prepare large datasets of varying structures and complexities from diverse data sources.
- Software Development: Interns will develop both frontend and backend software solutions while adhering to best practices. This includes writing code, debugging, and optimizing software for scalability and efficiency.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: The successful candidate will work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to implement and deploy sustainable solutions that drive business value.
