The South African National Parks (SANParks) is offering an exciting SANParks Internship Programme for recent graduates. This opportunity is ideal for those who have completed their National Diploma (NQF 6) from a Public Higher Education Institution (HEI) in South Africa.

Successful applicants will be placed in SANParks until March 2025, receiving a monthly stipend of R6030.70. It is important to note that SANParks is not obliged to employ interns upon completion of the programme.

SANParks Internship Programme Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the SANParks Internship Programme, applicants must:

  • Be an unemployed graduate aged 18 – 35.
  • Be a South African Citizen.
  • Have completed a National Diploma (NQF 6) in the specified disciplines from a South African Public Higher Education Institution (HEI).
  • Not have previously been employed nor participated in an Internship/placement programme.
  • Park accommodation is not available.
