    The Role at a Glance

    As a Sales Representative for the Bakeries Division, you are the face of Tiger Brands at the store level. You’ll be responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening the business by implementing effective planning and order-writing strategies, as well as handling various in-store activities such as merchandising, shelving, stock rotation, returns, and pricing.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Building Business Relationships:
    You will engage with store management to offer service and value beyond expectations. Strong business relationships are crucial for successful execution and store-level growth.

    2. Effective Planning & Order-Writing:
    Through strategic in-store planning and fact-based presentations, you will tailor your approach to meet each store’s unique needs, taking into account store demographics and customer base.

    3. Stock Management & Merchandising:
    Ensure that store inventory is fully stocked, rotated, and presentable. You will work closely with store merchandisers to monitor stock levels and ensure compliance with promotional space and pricing agreements.

    4. Product Knowledge:
    Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Tiger Brands’ product portfolio, sales systems, and procedures. Utilize this information to implement effective sales strategies.

    5. Customer Insights & Intelligence:
    Act as a link between the Customer Manager and store management, reporting on customer preferences, competitive activities, and pricing trends. Gathering this intelligence is essential for improving sales performance and customer satisfaction.

    You will handle all customer documentation and administration, ensuring that application forms, claims, and payments are processed accurately and efficiently.
