The South African Journal on Human Rights (SAJHR) is inviting eligible students to apply for its Postgraduate Top-Up Bursary for the 2025 academic year. This initiative supports deserving LLM students who are passionate about constitutional, human rights, and justice-related law.

Eligibility Requirements

- Be a Black South African or hold permanent residency in South Africa.
- Show financial need.
- Hold an LLB degree from a South African university.
- Have achieved a minimum of 65% average in LLB studies.
- Be registered for 1st or 2nd year of an LLM degree at a public South African university.
- Be conducting coursework and research focused on constitutional, human rights, or justice-related law.
Preference Will Be Given To:
- Students from:
- University of Venda
- University of Fort Hare
- University of Zululand
- University of Limpopo
- Walter Sisulu University
- University of the Western Cape
- Students with a strong academic record.
- Students who are close to graduating.
