Who Can Apply?
The Navy Military Skills Development System is open to motivated, disciplined, and physically fit individuals who meet the following requirements:
Basic Requirements
- South African Citizenship (No dual citizenship allowed).
- No Criminal Record (No pending cases or previous convictions).
- Medical Fitness: Must meet the required physical and health standards.
- No Visible Tattoos: Tattoos on the legs, lower arms, neck, or face are not allowed.
Age Requirements
- 18 – 22 years old: Must have successfully completed Grade 12 with a minimum Admission Point Score (APS) of 18 (excluding Life Orientation).
- 18 – 26 years old: If the applicant has an N6 qualification or a three-year tertiary qualification.
