Retail/Admin Clerk Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Retail/Admin Clerk with a friendly, outgoing personality and strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of working experience, with 3 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role. Retail, hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience is highly beneficial.
This role requires someone who is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative responsibilities. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and willing to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions and point-of-sale (POS) operations efficiently.
- Perform administrative tasks, including record-keeping and report generation.
- Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and staff.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uphold company standards.
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities to boost sales.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years in customer service/hospitality with retail experience.
- At least 10 years of overall work experience.
- Experience in Retail, Hotel, Restaurant, or Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.
- Experience in retail sales is beneficial.
