What the Bursary Covers
The Reatile Foundation Trust Bursary provides comprehensive financial assistance, which includes:

- Tuition fees

- If a student fails a subject, they will be responsible for covering the cost of the rewrite.
- Each student will only be funded once per level of study.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be black as defined by the BEE Act.
- Have completed Matric.
- Be enrolled full-time at the University of Johannesburg in one of the listed fields of study.
- Be entering their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study in 2025.
- Achieve a minimum overall aggregate of 65% in the 2024 academic year.
- Demonstrate financial need, with a household gross income not exceeding R30,000 per month.
- Not be receiving financial assistance from any other bursary or third party.
