    • Ensure the company vehicle is clean, safe, and complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
    • Dress professionally, wear prescribed PPE, and present oneself with high hygiene standards as you represent the brand in front of customers.
    • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections, report any faults immediately, and arrange a replacement vehicle if necessary.
    • Follow all road safety rules, ensuring the safety of passengers and other road users.

    • Confirm that stock is loaded safely, and report any quality concerns to the Dispatch Supervisor.

    4. Sales and Deliveries

    • Ensure each customer’s order is delivered accurately and according to plan.
    • Make alternative arrangements if additional stock is required to meet unexpected demand, ensuring no customer is left underserved.

    5. Transaction Management

    • Secure and accurately manage cash received during deliveries using the vehicle safe to safeguard company assets.

    • Complete cash-ups upon return from a route and report any shortages within 24 hours.

    6. Competitor Analysis

    • Actively collect information on competitor activities, products, and pricing to keep the company informed of market trends.
    • Report insights to the sales team, supporting strategic decisions that enhance RCL Foods’ competitive positioning.

    7. Team and Role Flexibility

    • Work harmoniously with the van assistant, providing coaching and guidance when necessary.
    • Support other departments as required, which could include stepping in as a van assistant or assisting with loading tasks during high-demand periods.
