Requirements
- Possession of a relevant B-degree in Civil Engineering and eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Valid Code B driver’s license

Duties
- Overseeing the effective functioning of Streets and Stormwater networks and Municipal bridges within the Municipal area, including managing associated key performance areas and result indicators.
- Managing the construction, upgrade, repair, and maintenance of bridges, roads, and stormwater systems.
- Ensuring sound, prudent, and compliant implementation of the capital and operational budget.
- Supervising a large operation staff complement, heavy vehicle fleet, specialized road maintenance vehicles and machinery, and facilities at the Street and Stormwater Depot.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on Engineering Drawings and Development Applications.
- Coordinating the activities of in-house teams, contractors, and consultants to achieve service delivery objectives.
