Omni Marketing Assistant Job Description
The Omni Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Senior Omni Marketing Co-Ordinator to implement direct marketing strategies for an extensive range of the biggest local and international brands within the Sportscene and Archive online space. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team that thrives on creativity, adaptability, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will involve various tasks aimed at ensuring seamless marketing efforts across multiple platforms:
- Email Marketing Execution:
- You will create and schedule emailers using Bloomreach, ensuring they align with product launches, campaigns, offers, and sales. This is vital in reaching the right customers at the right time.
- Creative Asset Management:
- You’ll need to liaise with the design team to ensure that creative assets are in place for new product launches, campaigns, or any sales promotions. This involves working with the product launch calendar and ensuring full visibility for the team on platforms like Monday.com.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- You’ll work closely with internal teams such as the TFG Rewards Team, the Omni Merchants, and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and execution of marketing efforts across various channels and platforms.
- Website Quality Checks:
- Ensuring the website storefronts are always fresh with new creatives, product displays, and carousels. You will also perform regular quality checks for new product launches, campaigns, and sales on the website.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Compiling monthly reports based on email marketing performance, as well as contributing insights into broader marketing strategies. You’ll provide reporting to both the Brand Managers and the Merchants on the effectiveness of campaigns, emailers, and website storefronts.
- Collaboration with Global Brands:
- As part of your role, you’ll collaborate with iconic brands like Nike, adidas Originals, and Puma. You’ll attend bi-weekly brand meetings and sometimes meet off-site to discuss marketing strategies and product ranges.
- Ad-hoc Marketing Tasks:
- The nature of this job means that you’ll occasionally be asked to assist in ad-hoc tasks, ensuring that your ability to adapt and manage multiple projects will be key to your success.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Marketing Qualification: A degree or diploma in marketing is essential.
- 1-2 years of experience in an Online/Omini Marketing role is preferred. Experience in eCommerce marketing will be highly advantageous.
