- Registration of Industry Participants: Ensuring that all credit providers, credit bureaux, alternative dispute resolution agents, payment distribution agents, and debt counsellors are registered.

- Enforcement of the Act: Ensuring compliance with the National Credit Act by all industry participants.

Requirements
To qualify for the NCR Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an unemployed South African citizen aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Possess a relevant 3-year tertiary qualification in the fields mentioned above.
- Have no prior participation in any internship programme.
- No work experience is required.
Knowledge and Skills
Successful candidates should have:
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Planning and organizing skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, and work well under pressure.
