Responsibilities of the Intern

- Liaising with stakeholders and service providers regarding the signing, monitoring, and termination of contracts.
- Tracking and managing contracts, advising relevant users on termination and expiry periods.
- Ensuring correct filing and record-keeping of legal documents.
- Assisting in monitoring legal, compliance, and corporate governance risks through workshops, conferences, and promotions.
- Supporting various departments by providing legal, corporate governance, and compliance assistance.
- Preparing necessary documents for information sessions related to governance and legal compliance.
- Assisting with the rollout of MQA policies to MQA staff members.
- Identifying customer needs and opportunities for better service.
- Engaging with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
- Collaborating with business unit managers to ensure efficient resolution of queries.
Requirements for the Internship
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a Grade 12 or Matric certificate.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Law, Legal Studies, or Corporate Governance or an equivalent qualification.
- Having an NQF Level 8 qualification in Law will be an added advantage.
