Key Responsibilities
General Communications Support:
- Assist in creating, editing, and publishing digital content for social media, websites, and newsletters.
- Research and analyze digital performance, providing actionable insights.
- Organize and maintain the m2m communications SharePoint.
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events.
- Support media relations by preparing interviews and identifying opportunities.
- Conduct trend research and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Perform administrative duties, including invoice payments and travel requests.
Country Communications Support:
- Work with the Regional Communications Manager to support m2m’s country-specific initiatives.
- Collect and edit impactful case studies for internal and external audiences.
- Prepare communications materials such as fact sheets and presentations.
- Liaise with field colleagues to address their communication needs.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Diploma or degree in marketing, journalism, or communications (preferred). Exceptional candidates without tertiary qualifications will also be considered.
Essential Competencies:
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Compassionate and adaptable team player.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital marketing tools like Canva, Google Analytics, and WordPress.
