Duties and Responsibilities

As a Human Resources Intern, you will gain practical exposure to HR administration support and coordination. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of HR activities, including:

Recruitment, Selection, and Induction Processes

  • Advertising vacancies on our recruitment portals.
  • Shortlisting potential candidates from recruitment portals and recruitment agencies.
  • Maintaining regular communication with candidates.
  • Scheduling interviews and assessments for shortlisted applicants.
  • Arranging orientation and induction for newcomers.
  • Preparing and sending regret communication to unsuccessful candidates.
  • Handling the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Completing background and risk checks for successful applicants.

Employee Enquiries and HR Processes

  • Handling employee enquiries related to HR processes.
  • Compiling monthly HR reports.
  • Managing diaries and general office tasks, including coordinating interviews, assessments, and HR onboarding sessions.
  • Assisting with HR projects and providing ad hoc support.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • A qualification related to Human Resources.
  • A good understanding and knowledge of HR-related theory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Any prior experience in this field will be advantageous.
