Mintek is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the ICT Internship Programme. This internship aims to provide practical work experience to students who have completed their degrees, focusing on data management, analysis, and service desk support.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (NQF level 7) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Excellent academic record with a 60% average
Job Knowledge and Skills Required
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles
- Proficiency in SQL querying
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Technical support principles
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Preparation: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis.

- Report Development: Contribute to the creation of reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
