Responsibilities
- Data Entry and Invoice Processing:
- Accurately enter supplier invoices against Purchase Orders.
- Apply correct tax codes to invoices.
- Request supplier statements as needed.
- Accounts Payable Management:
- Ensure all invoices and expenses are authorized before scheduled payment runs.
- Process business-related expenses and audit receipts for expense claims.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation for Travel & Entertainment expenses.
- Journal Entries and Reconciliations:
- Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and ad hoc journals.
- Manage daily cashbooks reconciliations and journals.
- Raise monthly intercompany journals.
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in preparation and analysis of cashflow monitoring actuals.
- Handle Fixed Assets records and reporting.
- Ad Hoc Accounting Duties:
- Provide cover for processing payments and allocating funds.
- Assist during periods of high workloads or absences.
- Perform other ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
