Make Up Artist Vacancy at Clicks (Grade 12 Only Required)

Purpose:

• Objective: Maximize sales by delivering exceptional customer service through deep product knowledge, effective promotion of merchandise, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

Key Objectives:

• Sales Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance; suggest improvements based on daily sales data provided by Clicks.
• Active Sales Involvement: Contribute to achieving sales targets and objectives.
• Target Setting: Monthly targets set by Key Account Manager (KAM) and reviewed quarterly.
• Product Evaluation: Assess individual product performance, role, and value in the store.
• Promotions and Product Activities: Implement actions for promoting new products and activities.
• Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with store management and colleagues.
• Store and Shelf Image: Ensure adherence to merchandising guidelines and continuously improve store appearance.
• Customer Engagement: Create and manage customer card files to boost sales.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed and updated on all products and promotions.
• Business Ethics: Apply high standards of business ethics and interpersonal skills.
• Housekeeping: Keep the designated area clean and organized.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Certificate, diploma, or associate degree in make-up artistry, skincare, cosmetology, drama, or theatre (or in progress)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in make-up artistry
  • At least 6 months of retail experience
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in English
  • Active on social media platforms
  • Ability to teach and demonstrate basic make-up skills and trends, including contouring, strobing, and brows
  • Capable of creating bold make-up statements
  • Young, vibrant, and confident individual
