Role Purpose
The Logistics Driver will be responsible for transporting vehicles across designated routes and ensuring that collections and deliveries are conducted according to company standards. The position involves supporting WeBuyCars’ logistical operations by acting as either a Buyers Driver or a Logistics Collections Driver, depending on operational needs. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive assigned vehicles for the purpose of transporting collected vehicles or facilitating buyer logistics.
- Maintain the company vehicle in excellent working condition, including regular checks and cleanliness.
- Ensure that all assigned vehicles are transported safely, in compliance with South African traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Adhere strictly to Health and Safety Guidelines set out by WeBuyCars.
- Ensure punctuality through regular attendance and proper timekeeping; sign in at the Logistics Office at the beginning of every shift.
- Execute transport tasks efficiently, with courtesy and a professional attitude that reflects the WeBuyCars brand.
- Only transport individuals approved by management—unauthorised passengers are strictly prohibited.
- Carry out any other lawful and reasonable duties as assigned by logistics or operational managers.
- Represent the company with integrity and ensure that behaviour on and off the road does not harm the organisation’s reputation.
